Dental Implants UK – is it the Best Option for You?
Considering dental implants in the UK?
Dental implants are a great way of improving your smile and oral health and ensuring you have a set of teeth that will last a lifetime. While most people know about dental implants, there is still a lot of misinformation about the practice of dental implants in the UK, and how it can benefit patients.
After all, it’s one thing to be told treatment is available — but it’s another issue to know whether that treatment meets your needs.
Risks of having no teeth? Are there any?
If you have missing teeth, you’re at a higher risk for tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health problems. You might be more self-conscious about how you smile, and it can affect your confidence as well. Dental implants offer a permanent solution to tooth loss—it’s the closest thing to a real tooth that we have today. It’s made of strong, biocompatible metal that integrates with your jawbone through natural bone growth over time.
Getting dental implants in the UK or abroad?
There is no question that dental implants abroad will be a lot cheaper, but then to save money you’re putting yourself up for a risky gamble.
A great number of new patients that have registered with us recently are patients that have had treatments done abroad.
The result you ask? Mostly, failed attempts at dentistry.
Keep in mind, not all dental treatments done abroad will result in dental implant failure or infection, there are cases that are successful.
