Traditional dentistry is concerned with the health of the teeth but a Smile Makeover or Cosmetic Dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of a person’s teeth, mouth, and smile.
It can consist of a number of things including: Teeth Whitening, Dental Implants, Crowns, Veneers, Bridges and Braces.
This patient was unhappy with his teeth and smile. He noticed that over the years his teeth had worn down considerably leaving them looking small. He came in with a photo of how his teeth were 10 years ago and the difference was surprising.
As you can see in the before photo his teeth had not only worn down, but were also discoloured and there was also a missing tooth which showed as a gap when he smiled.
After analysing his old photos, discussing teeth colours and assessing what shapes of teeth would suit his face treatment was started. With a combination of teeth whitening, crowns, veneers and a bridge his new smile was created.
As can be seen the end result is great. The teeth are now straight, white and look amazing!
